The Via Venetto Store is a shoe retail store which is 30 years old. The Buensalido+Architects was pointed to design the store interior in a new contemporary look. The designerd does not want to create the store in new face completely but keeping some of its characteristics and infusing them with newer, more contemporary forms.
The new design presented the word “via” which means roadway, path, or walkway synonymous to the characteristic of ‘movement’ into a series of undulating arches that loom over you as you traverse inside the store. Then, the arches interconnected with a myriad of beams, forming a diamond shaped faceted web. Hope that the new contemporary interior in the local retail community will sparkle like a diamond by getting the market trust.
